Women's Ministry

Our Purpose

  • To uphold, encourage, and challenge women in their pilgrimage as disciples of Jesus Christ and members of His world church.
  • To enable women to deepen their faith and experience spiritual growth and renewal.
  • To mentor young women, encouraging their involvement in women's ministry, and creating paths for them as they reach for their potential in Christ.
That out of the fullness we as women have personally found in Jesus Christ we may be empowered to share the good news of the soon coming of Jesus Christ within our families, among fellow believers, and in the ever expanding circles of our community to encompass the world.

Women of Prayer

Prayer Moves the Arm of Omnipotence! Join our Women of Prayer blog

Picture of Woman PrayingWhy is it that we do not receive more from Him (God) who is the source of light and power? We expect too little . . . Let us live in close communion with God. The joy of the Christian arises from a sense of God's love and care for His children and the assurance that He will not leave them alone in their weakness.

Prayer is heard by God when it comes from a heart broken by a sense of unworthiness. Prayer was instituted for our comfort and salvation, that through faith and hope we may lay hold on the rich promises of God.

Prayer is the expression of the desires of a soul hungering and thirsting for righteousness.

Prayer is a heaven-ordained means of success . . . Prayer moves heaven!

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. (Matthew. 7:7, KJV).

A World-Wide Campaign to Stop Violence Against Women

EndItNow Logoenditnow is a global campaign to raise awareness and advocate for the end of violence against women and girls around the world. It aims to mobilize Seventh-day Adventists around the world and invites other community groups to join the campaign to resolve this worldwide issue.

enditnow
seeks to extend God's vision of love and compassion for all His children. Domestic violence has been documented as a major issue within the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Incidences of abuse follow trends documented in non-Adventist populations.

This is why enditnow seeks to increase personal awareness, responsibility, and involvement to effectively help end violence against women and girls in every family and community around the world
